We love our community and are always thrilled to give back.
So, on October 25, 2024, our dentists hosted Free Dental Day in Evansville. This event made dentistry accessible to underserved populations in our community and those without dental insurance.
Dr. Allie Frounfelter feels there may be hundreds of thousands in the Evansville area in this situation, people who need dental care but lack the means to get it.
Our Dentistry Really Is All in the Family
Visiting dentists came to our practice on Free Dental Day to help us care for as many smiles as possible, including Dr. Adam Frounfelter’s father, a dentist in his own right. He drove in from upper Evansville. Yes, being part of a family of dentists on Free Dental Day is always beneficial!
Our team also coordinated this event, so the dentists were free to see as many people as possible—people of all ages and from all walks of life.
The dentists provided fillings, extractions, and various general treatments throughout the day.
We want to thank the dental professionals for their help in making this event a success and the people who visited us for dental care.
What Happens When You Don’t See the Dentist
Dental health is a vital part of overall wellness. Without access to care, people are at risk for advanced tooth decay, oral infections, and even gum disease.
Gum disease is especially concerning because it affects more than tooth loss and discomfort. Untreated gum disease influences systemic wellness.
So, when we get the chance to host an event like Free Dental Day, we take it!
